Question Possible Problem?..

Ok so ever since I bought my car I periodically check the data that reads on the dash. Well my fuel economy has always been at about 30.0 to 30.4 (i know this is not always accurate). But now that the cold weather is here its reading 28.5. Is this due to the cold weather? or is it a different problem that i need to look into before something really goes wrong? Im totally lost on this.

There are many things that play a factor. Oil viscosity, air density and idling more are a few.

mine always drops during the winter months too....nothing to worry about. Mine was way off the other day too, the computer said I was getting 30.5 and when I did the math I actually got 33.1. Biggest difference I've ever had with it
