What is a close price range for the staged kits? Are they covered under warranty? Is it true there is a production model running around? What about stage 3? Any other new parts for the cobalt?

Can you do your redline brotheren a favor and ask if the kits will work on the 04 redlines. I already asked at sema and they said yes but there is still alot of confusion as to whether or not it will work. Or if there is something extra we need to do.

Next will the staged upgrades work with larger cams, port and polish, and will the stage three still be in the works with the nitrous controller. They talked about this at sema where the ecu would control the nitrous system and timing.

If they do reveal any info on the stage kits.. What will the Actual HP outputs be? And whatever they tell you, ask if they are underrated.

1) Will the reflash for the stage kits stop the CEL from CAIs?
2) Will GMPP be offering a CAI, engine mounts, torque brace?
3) How much torque can the stock clutch take?

One more thing... What's the ACTUAL SAE HP rating for the LSJ?

Will the stage kits make the Cobalts competitive with the SRT-4's.? Or any other tuner car. Domestic pride is what it needs to be about.
Do they plan on releasing anything with the autocross enthusiasts in mind with Cobalts.?
When is access to the ECU/PCM going to be available.?

1) Stage Upgrades - When, how much, and will the upgrades be covered under warranty.
2) Future Products - CAI, whatever else

Two on my mind:

1) Is the high-mount aero wing functional, or is it basically just for show? (Hotely contested topic here)

2) Is the 2.0L Supercharged here to stay, or is the 2.0L Turbo from the Solstice GXP going to be put in the Cobalt SS?

What would it take to retrofit a variable valve timing and direct injection to the 05-06 cars?

Ask them what they think of the mods you've done to your car. Also, ask if there are any dangers involved with tricking the computer to add more fuel.

And the major one, ask if you can drive one of the desk mules, oh yea.

I spoke to the guy on the phone last night and we cahtted, he told me I was lucky my clutch has held up as long as It has, Rob and others will experiance problems soon from what I understand. They canceled stage 3 because of clutch/tranny problems. I know that much I will be back in 4-5 hours to get the final list. Im about to venture forth unto detriot rush hour!!!!!!!

I say show--I can't beleive the Cobalt would be so unstable at very high speeds to need such an ugly wing. But I'll wait for the answer.

Okay I have a question:

Ask if the 2.4L Cobalt SS has the same suspension as the ION Redline. Both have FE3.
I already was toild yes by GM but hearing directly from GM Performance would be icing on the cake.

thanks!!

i can tell you that it is very functional. the cobalt feels as good at 140+ as it does at 70, there's literally no difference. if you can find that video of me hitting 147 you will see me turn the steering wheel hard at 130+ and it stayed exactly where i put it. it doesn't seem right that a car with it's physical dimensions should hold that good to the road lol

A better question is, Why couldn't GM include the necessary items for the Stage 3 upgrade to prevent anything from breaking. IE if it would have blown the clutch and the tranny, why couldn't the upgrade include upgrades for those?

I can change lanes no problem at 240km/h (bumpy bus lanes) So the car is very steady.
