I've heard great things about GMPP's Touring catback... it's what I'm going to go with, along with ZZP's header/dp

*sigh* GMPP exhausts are all 2.25". Touring is more quit and mellow with a deep rumble. Sport aka "performance" is an aggressive growl. Corsa sport and touring exhausts have the same properties but the Corsa is 2.5" piping.

What car do you have? What mods do you have/planning?

There is no reason to have an exhaust larger than 2.25 on a near stock car. The extra quarter inch wont matter at all. Maybe a 1hp difference.

You need to tell me what you currently have or what you are planning on doing in order for us to help you.

Oh God. Here we go again.

"I have Corsa, no use the GMPP Touring, no that's ***** quiet get the Sport... it's loud, no it's rice loud"

Do yourself a favor and go to crateenginedepot.com and listen to the sound clips for the GMPP exhausts. Then read up on other exhausts and search for some other sound clips on other exhausts. Do the work, don't ask an opinion question on this forum...you'll give yourself nothing but more decisions and headache...lol.

You know that you have to tune your car with a smaller (2.8) pulley right? Also look on you tube for exhaust clips. With a stage 2 you should be fine with a GMPP exhaust.

Installing a manifold back exhaust on a 2.2 is not recomended. Not only will you lose low end torque out the ass you may also get a CEL. Which means that you wont be able to get the car inspected. You cant fix the CEL because there is no way to get the L61 tuned.

Thats a tough one. Our cars need a little bit of backpressure. When I had my Vibrant header and do with a high flow cat on my 2.4 SS, drivability was thrown out the window. I lost alot of low end torque and the car didnt drive as smoothly. Honestly I think you'll be fine with the GMPP Manifold and the GMPP sport. You will retain some of your warranty too.

Yeah really. The base cobalts are really hard to modify and get good gains without getting CELs. You will be fine with just a catback and an intake. Its really not cost effective at all to modify the 2.2

Don't do that man come on.

But if you are going to do that you will need a 2.25 band clamp to wrap around the cut stock exhaust.
