Power Loss?? Please Help!!

It's been a while since my car has been struggling.

At idle is fine, but when I accelerate it takes about 3 seconds to respond, the rev goes all the way to 7000 but it does not advance. Also I have noticed that i have no boost the most I get is 5 psi. I was checking it the other day and i saw that the vacuum line was easy to take off like it was not pressurized. IDK it that is normal. Oh and I got a check engine light, I was told that it was the O2 sensor, but the problem could be the spark plugs so i changed them.

Any Ideas?? 'Thanks in advance

The code I have no idea, the guy just told me it was the O2 sensor. That the problem "could" be the spark plugs.

How could it be the 02 sensor but the problem can be spark plugs? Whoever told you that is an idiot.

First, find out what the code is. Then report back.

Well you'd have to track down where the vacuum leak is. Check and see if there are any that are unplugged, cracked, broken, cut, etc...

its really simple, let us know what the code is, and we will tell you how to fix it.

Without knowing what the code is, we can't give you an answer. Unless its just a bad line "somewhere" but that still isn't a good answer.

Go to autozone or buy a scanner, and have them, or yourself, scan the codes. Tell us what the code is, and we will tell you how to fix your issue.
