problem

well i live in new york and today we got heavy rains and i was driving my car and all of a sudden the check engine light came on and now the car spits and sputters. do you think i got some water in my intake. i have a k&n intake.

sounds like the MAF sensor got wet

Just buy some MAF spray and clean it off. You should be good.

These guys are all over it. MAF got wet, just clean it out or let it dry.
