Prototype TVS users question asap!

So I fear my bypass valve may be failing, I'm currently using the one from my m62, the TVS also came with one but only has one vaccum port on it. Can this be used somehow? I'm assuming the line from the bypass valve just goes back into the supercharger vaccum port? what is the two lines even used for on the stock one?

in some instructions I was given in a PDF made by another user it states this

The Boost Bypass Actuator included with the Harrop HTV is missing one of the nipples necessary to attach a vacuum line to the Boost Bypass Solenoid.
To resolve this issue, transplant the boost bypass actuator from the M62 over to the Harrop HTV1320, there are two bolts holding the actuator in place, plus one vacuum hose.

Is this critical, do I need to have something hooked to the boost bypass solenoid?

The second nipple is what you need to control boost. w/o it, no boost limitation. Only problem is first gear boost can't be reduced. meh, your call

you can fit an M62 boost acutator to a TVS depending on your unit, it it is early it is I beleive a straight swap; if late generation you will have to cut off the limit stop on the M62 actuator bracket. Rodimus you really really need to start over looking at your install and your tune, there are too many things that interact with each other that frankly reading over your stuff I think you have not done well enough. Your issues are fundementally flawed install and tune in my opinion. Your solution is to make the install right, and then get a serious tune worked out.

My TVS 80 mm pulley install has been perfect from day 1 after I made sure everything had been done correctly.

I did the install myself. any issues were due to something i did not do right, and that took a few extra minutes to correct. I am at v.4 on the tune. Not finished yet. But I can spin the tires in second gear from a roll at will, just by putting the gas pedal down. It is very qwik on the race track, where i spend a lot of time. way qwiker than my M62 with a 73 mm pulley. I will be on track tomorrow , logging and taking data. V.5 tune will follow. I think in a month I will be satisified....

Everything has been running fine for the past year, I already have a M62 bypass valve on, I suspect its going bad. The only spare I have is the one that came on the harrop. I'm not really understanding what your talking about when it comes to installing a TVS, theres 4 bolts? Theres really no way it can be put on wrong. If something is installed wrong the issues pop up soon after not almost a year and a half later with no warning.

I also have nobody locally that I can really compare notes with when it comes to the TVS. I'm not really concerned about power anymore, in fact tommorow I'm taking off the LS4 TB and prob the water injection.

Yeah I have heard various opinions on it. But I'm just going to stick with the stock throttle body. I'm making a really reliable 274whp and 242wtq with my tvs as is. Only thing I am considering is dropping a pulley size and adding a return style or just 79lb injectors. Do you think that will net me anything?

I'm trying to stay away from meth. I get that it works great, but I just don't want it.

I made 298 with a LS4 and 80mm pulley

I'm thinking about the 80lb injectors but not unless I can actually figure out this wierd idle thing and the water injection just staying on all the sudden
