psi?

hey guys. just have a question. its 23 degrees out tonight and on the awy home from work i got on it a little. i was hitting about 13.5 lbs of boost at about 4500 rpms with just an injen intake on. just wanted to make sure i'd be alright and wasn't risking anything. i know if i had an exhaust it would free up some of that. should i be careful?

Yeah...you're fine...

If you just have an intake, you're fine.

Also note that your computer is capable of sensing the drop in temperature and comphensate fuel for the extra air molecules that is entering your combustion chamber (colder air = denser = more air molecules).

It's alright. It's better to ask questions to make sure rather than to assume.

good to know the comp. is that smart. i know there is a lot of threads on it, and trust me i am on this site all the time reading stuff. but, if i'm planning to do stg 2 in the near future, next month most likely, what other mods MUST i have? i know most say exhaust but isn't the stock a 2.5"? and the gmpp is 2.25? and is it worth ordering the kit from crate engine and then taking it to the dealer?

p.s. messed that quote up

Get a wideband and a interceptor gauge...you'd be suprised on how many people skimp out on the proper monitoring devices.

Yes, computers are getting smarter and having more control every year with technology advancing. There is a very interesting book you can read that I highly suggest people to read if they want to learn more about engine management systems.

If you need anymore help, just let me know.
