PSI-FI installed
PSI-FI installed
I put my psi-fi kit on last night it took about 3 1/2 hours to do. when i finished i took it for a spin and had cel on. when i got on it it detonated so i brought it to a friends house he has a code reader when i erased the cel i took it out again and it still did it but very little. i brought it back home and took it out again and it stopped completly. i put some octane booster in it and that helped. other than that the car is a completly different car it pulls much harder than before. i thought our first gear was short before, man i cant give it wide open throttle it just breaks lose in first.
Mine ran like crap after I first installed the kit... took a good 100 miles before it was just right.. Has been great ever since... I never did get a CEL or any codes... I would double/triple/or quadruple check your wiring just to be for sure... also check all you vacuum lines/hoses.... But anyways... Congrats !! I love my Psi Fi kit !

Just one more reson to wait for the GM Stage kits.
And a piggy back doesn't give the ECM accurate readings it tricks it into thinking certain perameters are different. In doing so maximum values can be reached and throw trouble codes also.
The GM kits are worth the wait, bigger gains, No CEL and warranty are worth it.

What makes you think GM will warranty there stage kits? DCX doesn't warranty the SRT-4 kits.

I don't need to see or ride in a PsiFi equipped SS to tell you the GM kit will be better. Anyone with anyone common sense could make that call. Just because it is the first one out there means nothing.
The pure fact that it is a piggy back unit makes it inferior.

I was thinking someone might purchase the steering column mounted Redline boost gage and ladder tach cept put the Interceptor in there. (or switch em around) The ladder tach should work fine IMO.
I havnt seen any DUAL gage pillars yet for the Cobalt. Any out there??
