Pulley and.....

Hey all, I just picked up my cobalt ss supercharged this last weekend and am still pretty new to it. I was considering some mods and im thinking about turning up the boost with a smaller pulley. Would i need to put some other parts on with the pulley, or would the car run fine with just the smaller pulley and the smaller belt. If this has been posted before please direct me to the other thread if you have it, i did try the search but it didn't bring up much, thx.

if you have stock injectors you could go 3" but i dont know how safe. if you go lower than that you need larger injectors.

If you like the idea of your car staying under warranty,
do some research on GM stage 2.
will take you up to 245hp, and costs about $550 for the kit, and around $250 install

If you dont care about warranty, go straight for the aftermarket parts.

I dont think "just getting a pully" is a good idea.

Yeah, do some reading before you change anything. GM Stage 2 is a good buy, you should read up on it.

please dont go down pulley sizes without bigger injectors and a tune. i think everyone who has stage 2 is just about maxed out on their IDCs.
