What color are the bolt holding the stock pulley to the SC, is the stage two the olny GM pulley with bright blue bolts.

I noticed it earlier today, that they were blue that is. Also noticed that I can Rev to 7kRPM without hitting the limiter. I bought the car used and i'm wondering if it might already have the stage 2 kit on it.

 

yup you have stage 2, and the stock pulley doesnt have bolts, it slides onto the SC

 

thats awesome, now I have to go get it dyno'd for the hell of it. Can't believe i've been driving around on a stage 2 for a year and didn't know it. I was about to by one in march....crap, now what else should I do to it....

 

First it sounds like you need to find out what all is actually done to it. Does it have a stock exhaust? Stock header? Does it have a CAI (before you say "no i dont see any piping" they may have done the airbox mod or it could have an AEM CAI). What kind of boost are you seeing?

 

I'm pretty sure the exhaust is stock, it sounds and looks like every other SS/SC i've seen in person. It has an XTC CAI. Max i've seen is just under, like just barely under 15PSI
