pulley hub removal and ****

ok so i know i need a pulley puller to get the stock puller off...do i need a press to get the new hub on? how did yall do it if not?

Easiest way is to use a press and bearing splitter to pull the old pulley/hub off, and then use a GM power steering pump pulley installer tool to install the new pulley. Rent one from autozone for free if you need to, its much safer that way. It has a bearing collar deal that threads into the blower shaft, then you turn the collar nut down on it which pulls the pulley on safely. You can't put it on with a press correctly, you risk damaging the housing or bearings in the blower as they are forced to take a load that they shouldn't see.

can i use said tool for reinstallation of your smoothflow hub? also will the rental come with instructions?

yes, he even says that in his post. Thats what that tool does installs and uninstalls.
