pulley imput please

i have a 2.9 intense pulley with a stage 2 belt. 42s for injectors. would a drop to a 2.8 pulley make any diffrence. i plan on getting the car retuned very shortly. and also does the snout need any machining for a 2.8 pulley?

snout does not need machining and pending on where u live or whatever ide get 60# injectors... im running a 2.9 and i run very high injector duty cycles... like maxed out... now you could get a better tune then me but either way your in teh grey area in my opinion... and yes a 2.8 would make a difference in boost... you will get to boost hihger and much faster... 2.8 ide def get 60#...

u need #60 injectors to run a 2.8 or u have to run meth but i'd suggest just getting the injectors....you'll notice a pretty good difference between the two pulleys an you don't need to machine the snout till a 2.6 i believe

yeah buy some 60's and then drop it down to a 2.8 and you'll be fine after a tune ofcourse.

and you dont have to snout match untill 2.5 just and fyi for ya.

I'm fine and happy with my 2.85" and 42#s

The dyno showed a steady Air fuel mixture a little on the rich side. So obviously my injectors arn't maxed out yet, as it holds that up to 6, 500 RPM ( didn't go past that on the dyno test )

Looks like you got really close to the setup I have. Exept my CAI is K&N and my Pully is 2.85" What kinda power you putting out? I was dynoed at 230whp.
