Pulley and injector question
Pulley and injector question
hey guys, just bought a 2.7 pulley for my 07 ss/sc but i was wondering is it safe to do the pulley my self with stock injectors? . ill be purchasing 50# injectors over the next couple of weeks. but i really want to install the pulley my self. also isnt there a tool i need to do it? how hard is it?
That pulley will not just bolt up to the supercharger. You need a tensioner, and adapter hub, you will also need the GM stg2 belt to keep from belt slip. Also, DO NOT PUT THAT ON WITHOUT LARGER INJECTORS AND A TUNE!!! You WILL blow the motor from leaning her out.
You should have been able to get everything you need with the pulley from the company that you got the pulley from. Call Matt at Tune Time Performance in Toms River at 1-732-232-5177, tell him that Andy with the Blue Cobalt sent you to talk wit him. He will direct you as to where you can get everything you need, as well as setting something up to tune your car to run right with that setup
Listen to whatever Matt says. He is the best guy in the game down there in Jersey for you guys. Save up the money and give it to him. He'll make your car a beast. A safe beast, I might add. None of the cars he builds blow up...
