pulley puller

So i am going down to a 2.8 and i called Advanced Auto and asked if they had a pulley puller i could rent and they said yes. I asked about sizes and all that and they said it is universal for any pulley. Is this correct? I dont want to go all the way down to the guy whose installing it for me and find out i have the wrong pulley puller.

I thought the puller was used to take the pulley off the hub? and press it back on?

Wow.... This could have been pretty funny...

good thing this was caught... haha...

the hub gets pressed on, and stays on... bolts hold the pulley to the hub...

so that way its just unbolt and go.
