Pulley question

Okay folks,
Got a ZZP Stg 3 kit with a 2.8. The question is I plan to get this installed this weekend the but I want to install the pulley the day before while I am at work as I have access to the tools needed to press the stock pulley off. So can I drive with the 2.8 on provided I don't push the throttle hard until before I get tuned a day or 2 later?

Technically i wouldnt do it just because the difference in air flow, even at idle and cruise with the new pulley. But say if this shop isnt to far away do it, just dont get on it at all...... DO U HAVE A WAY TO SEE FUEL TRIMS AND KR AND ECT?

So far I only have an interceptor. I am getting a canned tune put on until I get a wideband and then do a custom tune.

id wait, thats a big difference in pulley size just to be safe. Install all the rest of your stuff over the weekend, then when you get to work pop the pulley, belt/tensioner and pcm in. Thats what i would do.

It won't hurt anything to put the 2.8 pulley on there but I would stay out of boost. Since it sounds like you are still on the stock tune the PCM will limit you to 12.5 psi regardless, but I would not recommend going full throttle as you will probably be way lean with stock injectors and VE tables in the stock tune.

At idle and cruise the SC is not fed because the boost bypass is open.

It also won't hurt to do it this way. Once the new injectors and PCM are in place running the stock pulley is fine. You stated that you are getting tuned though, are you not using the ZZP PCM?

No not using a ZZP PCM. My buddy has HPT Tuners and will drop his old OTTP Canned Tune on it for now as it matches my mods and In a little while go full custom tune
