Pulley removal

Pulley removal

I'm gonna be puttin on a 2.9 and i have the gm stage 2 pulley on now.. Do i absolutly need the tool that comes with the stage 2 kit to remove the pulley? I never got it back from the dealership that installed it.

I believe you do. Me and my friend tried other sizes and it didn't work with them. And good luck with the stage 2 bolts, they have lock tight on them...they're a bitch to get off....

If you do not have those little bits to remove the S2 bolts... YOU WILL HAVE TO DRILL THEM OUT! If you try a torx or an actual screwdriver bit it will strip they are very soft bolts!

Get the bit it makes it that much easier!

yup just like those guys say you have to drill them out i would ask the dealership if they had them on hand and ask if you can have them back but you best bet is to see if anyone is selling those bits

The dealer prolly won't do it for him... and if they loc-tited it it won't come out anyway! You'll have to drill it out!
