Pulley on Stock Injectors?
What is the smallest pulley that you can run on stock injectors? Ive always wondered this. So does anyone have an answer?

Look around, there are many opinions on this. I ran a 3" for maybe 2 months before adding the GM stage injectors and tune, never had a problem, and the car felt strong. Then again, people say that the 2.8 i run now is no good. It all depends on how picky you are. A reasonable pulley will give nice gains, maybe not optimal, but can't really hurt as long as you dont go to like a 2.8 on stock tune and inj. Whatever pulley you run, the tune needs to be adjusted. That will tell you how out of wack you are. if you get your a/f right, they you are ok. If its too lean up top, you need bigger injectors.

There is no actual answer. You can put on the smallest pulley they make with stock injectors and it could run...but perhaps like ****. Anything different than stock will warrant a re-tune. But in all seriousness, all you have to do is use the search button and you could find literally thousands of posts about this. This is has been an issue for some time now.

oo i was thinking going a size or 2 down from the stock pulley what makes a 3.2" pulley, i dont feel like putting new injectors yet, and i want a little more power and boost, so thats what i was thinking, oo yeah sorry about not useing the search button.

3.2? probably wouldn't notice much of a difference. might as well get a 3.1 or 3.0. you should be ok with them

Yea, it will. In fact I have been using the ZZP 3" with just the airbox mod and one step colder plugs for about 5 months and its still running strong. However, you CAN NOT .. and I mean CAN NOT run it at WOT all the time .. it will run a little lean at the top
