Pulley swap

Im in the process of putting on my 2.8 pulley , this is my first time doing this and im just wondering how you go about taking the tension off the belt? I know the tensioner pulley is right behind the blower pulley , theres a bolt on the bottom and a bolt on top that holds the pulley there. Do you loosen both off? Any input that would be helpful is appreciated, thanks.

Bumppp ... wanting to get this done

Bumpp ... someone must know this

No u just loosen the slack on the tensione by getting a 15mm wrench and pushing down and back on the lil engine hoist piece.. Or use a crowbar to do it.

If thats too har i just took my blower off and tilted it forward to take the belt off... BUT be really careful cause there is a chance u can bend the sc gasket if u r being careless.. but it really aint that hard.

Just remove the belt by removing the tension from the tensioner pulley and pull the belt off. It would be ridiculous to unbolt the supercharger just to remove the belt when there is a tensioner designed specifically for that purpose. As Fonzi said, grab your 15mm, remove the tension, slip off the belt. Done.

I have used the blade on a small hammer size ax and a thick scrapper/putty blade. I cant find the right size wrench or crowbar in my garage as I have misplaced them over time so I have to improvise.
