I had a custom tune done on the GM Stage 2 42's and pulley with just an intake and since then have done a whole lot of mods and now Im looking to get tuned by BYT, but i wanna drop down to a 2.9 pulley. Would it be safe to put the 2.9 on myself and drive up to get tuned so i can save the money and time of having him put it on?

 

yes it would be safe to do it. Stay out of boost if ur tune is already in the upper 11's.

 

Buy 60's buy 2.7..dont waste time on more tuning on sumtn so close to what you allready have...in a month you'll be doing it anyway and waste more money.

 

Should be safe, just keep an eye on your wideband and make sure it's not to lean if you have to gun it.
