ZZP advertises that their modular system with 2.6" pulley requires no snout machining. I'll be finding out how true that is in a week or so.

NOOOOOOOOO! Sorry man but do this and aasave alot of money. Get the ZZP 2.7"
ZZP makes their pulley so that you don't have to machine down your snout. And they sell the MPS and pulley together for 99.98 as opposed to Intense's 149.99. Then if you want intense to machine your snout they charge you another $200 in core charges and $50 for the work. IT MAKES NO SENSE TO GET YOUR PULLEY FROM INTENSE. PM me if you want more info. I just went through this EXACT thing.

Actually I figured it out for myself. Remember you didn't even know. But yes Cammeron, had it not been for you I would have never done the research.

actually, INTENSES MPS is $99.99, and comes with your choice of pulley size. Yea, you have to have the snout machined, so you are right in that aspect. However, your only ACTUAL cost is $50, you get your core refund. I get your point though, it is more of a hassle. The guys at INTENSE are pretty straight up though. I was just there today and got to meet Scott and Todd....

I bought the Intense 2.7" for Stage 4 then realized I didn't really want to have my snout machined just incase I have to return my car to stock, I think the dealer would notice a machined snout. So I just bought the Billetflow 2.7" which fits over the snout. I go on the 12th to get Stage 4 intalled and Dyno tuned. I can't wait!! So in my opinion it makes more sense to go with Billetflow or ZZP but of course to each is own.

zzp offers a 2.6" that requires no machining of the snout either. Im not sure if any other companies offer a 2.6" or smaller that requires no machine work.....

ok say for instance I get the billetflow 2.7 will the zzp 2.6 work on the billeflow hub i dont see why it would if i go down that road later on? Many will ask why not just go with zzp then, well its because I like the red aluminum look, and i am not sure if i want to do 2.6 or 2.5 with 60's yet....

The ZZP will NOT fit the Billetflow hub. I was told, not sure if its ture but ZZP pulley's will fit the Intense hub. Pretty sure those are the only interchangable ones.

Thats kind of interesting, if thats true, then those with the INTENSE hub wouldn't need any machine work to go down to a 2.7" or smaller....

Is there any definite confirmation of this?

I'm going with Autolite Copper Core plugs for my stage 4. They are the ones Intense gives with the kit.

either those (autolite, NGK BK7REs), or I heard that Rob reccomends the ZEX plugs as well. I don't believe that you will need a tensioner or anything to run a 2.6" with the stage 2 belt.

Yeah, but a guy here in AZ has a 2.5 pulley with the stage 2 belt and a 3" tensioner and still has really bad belt slip.

Ok, I'll get the ZZP adjustable tensioner. I like ZZP, they give really good customer service and speedy shipping.
