Pullin my motor tomorrow!!!
Pullin my motor tomorrow what do i have to do about the axles? when i pull the motor?
Loud ticking noise coming from the left side of the engine where the pulley is. milky **** in my intake... will the ticking go away if i replaced the head gasket or intake gasket? becasue i know one of them is blown, bubbles on my dip stick but no white milky look on my dipstick or oil cap... so what do yall think????

no offense but exactly what i thought. even though what you are saying might be a blown head gasket pulling the motor would not even be necessary to get that done to my knowledge i hope you are doing this with someone that knows what he is doing.
excuse me i just read your second post. good luck.

Like said above, you don't need to pull the motor for the headgasket.
If it really is a piston, once you remove the head you'll be able to clearly see if something broke.
I know i'd be pissed if I pulled the LSJ just to find out that it's only a head gasket and coulda been done in the car.

yea the timing chain might be it as well post of vid of the ticking it might be distinctive if you can though. Is your car throwing out a code. Then to make sure its a not a piston, compression test it.
the last time i did a compression test it was 165 is that on the left side of the motor or the right? well whatever that one is, its low but could be from the blown headgasket.. no code at all.
blowing a ring doesnt have anything to do with coolent and water in my oil... it all in my intake and theres alot of ticking in the left side of the motor. which is probably the timing chain
did u change ur oil, or u just going off the fact that, it seems milky on the dipstick, does ur oil smoke when u open your cap, does your exhaust smell gassy and oily, if ur finding a lot of crap in your intake id be positive its your ring,
id stil remove the head first, can be done in under a 3 hours no problem. also depends how mechanically inclined u are
