pulse width VS duty cycle
pulse width VS duty cycle
sorry for the ignorance but can someone explain the difference between injector pulse width and injector duty cycle? i know the aeroforce gauge will read IPW, but what tool can we use to monitor IDC?
Use HP tuners to show your IDC .. i dont know a whole lot about injectors .. but i would say pulse width is the amount of time the injector is opened during the intake cycle .. and duty cycle i know for a fact is how much of the injectors capability is being used throught the power band .. hope that helps
It's essentially the same thing but here is a better explaination on pulse width

Both the multi-point and the single-point systems operate in a very similar fashion, having an electromechanically operated injector or injectors opening for a predetermined length of time called the injector pulse width. The pulse width is determined by the engine's Electronic Control Module (ECM and depends on the engine temperature, the engine load and the information from the oxygen (lambda) sensor.
