A question about aeroforce interceptors!

First of all i used the search buttons but couldn't find anything.

Ok i plan on buying dual aeroforce interceptors from a member on here, and my question is.. With the interceptors, is there a wideband a/f ratio kit that I can buy so that it will read the air/fuel ratio through the interceptors, therefore i wont have to go buy another gauge.

Thanks in advance

the interceptor does not have A/F. you would have to buy a wideband sensor, and install that.

but i think it is possible to wire the sensor in, so that the interceptor can read it.

i may be wrong on the second part, someone will answer this for sure though.

I am pretty sure that you can wire in a wideband sensor into it. It says so right on here: http://www.aeroforcetech.com/

Im about 90% sure you can, i need to buy just the wideband sensor, and you can wire it into your interceptor through the analog option on the screen... as far as accually linking the 2 togehter so ti can read it, im not sure how, but im pretty sure it can be done

Correction: IT HAS a/f in it! With my stage 2, I'm always at 14.7 at low throttle and then get around 10.8 when I am at wide open throttle and reving high. If you go in their website, you can see a list of what the Interceptor can read in our car, lots of things! Having this is like having 8-9 gauges at once!

I must certainly miss something... doesn't the guy want to know if its possible to read the a/f ratio of our car while cruising on the road? Why can I read it with my Interceptor gage only? Can you explain?

Yes you can get a reading of your A/F ratio if you hook up an o2 sensor in your dp. I will show up under either analog 1 or analog 2 depending how you hook it up to the interceptor.

he's laughing cause you can read "narrow" band A/F without a wideband O2 sensor hooked up, but that's not the same as with one.

This is what I don't understand... I don't hook up anything else, just the interceptor gauge and I can read A/F ratios. So the A/F I read isnt accurate?

It's a narrow band reading (assuming this is not on a SS/TC). It is not going to be accurate, but it reveals enough info for the PCM to see if you are rich or lean.
