Question about tuning

Right now, I have a LOT of parts waiting to go on my car. The list is:
-Fucked up CTI header/downpipe
-OTTP Heat exchanger
-60# Injectors w/harness
-2.8 MPS
-Stage 2 belt
-Step colder spark plugs

The plan was to get my heat exchanger and header/down pipe installed, then install the 60's/2.8/bla bla and send my PCM to OTTP for a tune.

However, given this wonderful Ohio weather we've been having, the heat exchanger and exhaust get to wait.

My question is, will there be any need for a difference in tune if I install the engine mods, get it tuned, then in about a month get the heat exchanger and exhaust installed? Is it safe to say there wont be any need for a different tune, or should I wait to get it all installed at once then send my PCM out?

Depending...

Lets say your running 20 deg timing. you get 2 deg of kr due to high iat2 temps. So you bump it down to 18 or 19.

The h/e would have kept the iat2's lower, and allowed you to have kept that timing.

Gotta love our weather 70 on sunday and 30 on monday wait and put everything on before your tune so it'll be done and you won't have to worry about it. Or ya could get a nice custom tune from wicked

i dont think the exhaust makes a difference, but with the Heat Exchanger yyou could pull more timing than you would be able to without one. So you could have a better tune if you were to wait

are you going to ottp for them to tune you personally or are you just mailing in your pcm

and btw my CTI dp leaks, and im pretty sure it is coming from the flex pipe. what a surprise

I'm just mailing it to them. I e-mailed them twice now asking them these questions personally, still waiting on a response.

I warned you about that CTI crap
their products are the worst I've ever seen.

I installed my h/dp on a stock catback. CIA stuff. My airfuel went from an 11.8 to a 12.2 to 12.3. When I open my cutout I run about a 12.7. Gettin a retune tomorrow. Exhaust will make a difference according to other mods and how much air it frees up.

THAT is the answer I was looking for, thank you.
Just means I'll have to wait for that nice day, get my exhaust, HE, and wideband installed, park the car and do the engine stuff.

Oh, and current mods are 2.5" cat-back and 3" CAI, so all that'd be left is porting the engine for more air. And well, not doing that. Not worth my time
