Question before purchasing

Alright this is prolly a really easy thing to do/answer but im still learning so try to be nice =]

im purchasing a stage kit and it comes with a new PCM. How/what do i do to install this? i've looked for "how to" instructions on installations but i've not come up with anything for a cobalt ss/sc anything you can provide me would be immense help.

Thanks
-Greg

You'll probably have to do a security relearn but the instructions should come with it. I had a intense tune and wasn't happy with it. It was very inconsistent sometimes it had full power other times it would hesitate. I've got a custom hptuner tune now and am much happier. And you might have to do a case relearn but that the dealership has to do. They had to do mine anyways

simple as unplugging the old one, and plugging in the new one. The PCM is located infront of the remote positive battery box just behind your intake pipe for the supercharger. Has 3 plugs which simply have a sliding plastic lock on each.

I have had great luck with Trifecta and the LSJ. Currently Vince is tuning alot of Sc cars down here in AZ. We have 2 cars in the 275whp range

You could get a custom dyno tune by SMG in MA for about the same price and you wouldn't have to worry about any case relearn or changing the PCM's.
