Question bout my clutch
Question bout my clutch
Clutch is fine all the time unless I launch out of 1st hard. If I launch it from a dig and go full throttle when its time to shift into second I'll shift and try to go back to full throttle and she'll just sit there and rev limit like it's not engaged. Is this a common problem. Didn't do it until I got the stage 2 installed.
I will tell you why it does this... mine did this too on my stock clutch.
If you spin all the way to 7k, you are REALLY NOT going ~40mph like the speedo reads, you are in reality going 25ish mph. Then, when you try to shift into 2nd, the clutch says "**** that" because you are going from 7k rpms, down to like 3k rpms (2nd gear at 25mph) Its just spinning to fast, then goes down to such a low speed.
That is the only downfall with the stock clutch, everyone just needs to learn how to drive it. you are GOLDEN if you dont roast 1st gear. Just make sure you have full traction, and rip the shifter into 2nd gear.
When i had my stock clutch, i would do that, roast the upshift, chirp 3rd gear and power shifted 4th. I just put a new clutch in because it was a killer deal
