Question on dp
I say go catlesss and live with the check engine code. My stock cat went out and was replaced under warranty. I put on a used CA 3" w/cat and the cat went out on it. Just took the downpipe off today to knock out the cat as my exhaust was rattleing. Found out the cat was completely gone and the ratteling was the pieces in the back half of the exhaust.
if the cel stays on for awhile, is that bad? just wondering cause i'm going catless and i'm worried that it's going to **** **** up. as long as i get it tuned eventually i'll be good, correct?

it wont **** anything up, but if you dont have an interceptor or a scan guage then you cant check to see if thats the only thing wrong, maybe as soon as you put your dp on the CEL will come on then the next day the 4th cyl will be about to go and you will just think that the CEL is from the DP. i have a ZZP DP with a highflow cat and i got a CEL from it but i use the interceptor guage to constantly check and make sure that, that is my only code being thown.
ps, dont go catless, its soo loud and raspy sounding, you will most likely regret it.
