Question on exhaust

im thinking about getting a custom exhaust made w/ 2.5" pipe. but i was gunna put my stock muffler on it just cause i dont want it to be too loud. doing that wouldn't be pointless right? what do u guys think? input please

get a magnaflow muffler with a vibrant resonator

and here are mandrel piping. comes with clamps and flanges. if he exhuast shop doesn't have a mandrel bender.

your stock piping is mostly 2.5, so yes, it's a waste

intill the axle then it turns into a 2.25

so from the downpipe to the back axle its 2.5" pipe then when it goes over the axle it 2.25" pipe im guessing
right?

Correct, Just before the axle it goes down to 2.25". Just look under ur car and u can see it. U could just have a shop replace the 2.25" piping with 2.5" and keep the stock muffler if u want but even thats pointless if u ask me. I dont see u gainin enough from how much ur going to spend.

ok now im straight thanks alot guys what size pipe do u think i should get im not getting 3" cause i had a vibrant and i could tell i lost power not enough back pressure

Try the 2.75" catback exhaust on CED. Random Tech is the name of the exhaust I think.
