question for installing a wideband
question for installing a wideband
so im realy not sure where to weld the bung on to the down pipe. does anyone have a idea thanks. ive been looking for how to's but its all narrow bands
It needs to be between 9 and 3 oclock on the downpipe and I think within 6 inches of the header. Would you like me to take a picture of my stock dp with a bung welded in for one. Its sitting in my room.
Not supposed to put it in the bottom.
Straight from the lc1 installation manual...
Do NOT install the Bung below the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position.
Condensation can form in the exhaust pipe and permanently damage the sensor.
6 o’clock is the absolute worst position to mount the sensor.

The reason I said 9 to 3 was meaning literally on the top of the clock/pipe.
