Yeah do 2.6 and meth and blow #4.
I do think that cooling mods will be in order now. Extra heat exchanger, and the option B from GM Stg 3 for the dual pass end plate. Do you plan on anything drastic in the future? like a twinscrew or turbo swap? If you are doing twinscrew, dont waste the money on a dual pass right now, because the kit comes with its own dual pass set up

Thats what I am doing when the money is right... Twinscrew seems like the way to go, bolt on and more efficient to boot. Turbo would be the way to go if you want to take the time to do a more complicated install of a turbo
And what good is a >13.8 second car when you cant run the engine?

Definately get the Cobra HE... it's worth the money. That's the next thing on my list.

Definitely do all the mounts. The only set that I am missing is the CAB's but those are coming next.

A stage 2 car with a smaller pulley is capable of getting mid to low 13's with an ok driver.

IMO modding past where you are at right now is a waste if your keeping the M62.

Turbo or Blower swap, or your just going to spend all your money fighting heat and broken parts.

Sorry I don't mean to jack this thread, but I was wondering how much of a hp gain you would get with nate's 2.9" pulley, and whether it would be safe (in the long run) to run with the Stage 2 flash. I am planning on getting my exhaust manifold and performance exhaust done in the following weeks.

Thanks and sorry again for jacking your thread.

Name one person that has had that combination go BOOM. Or a 2.8/ 42.5# combo for that matter. I haven't read or heard of one person.

I'm under warnity and I run 13.6 without my DP highflow cat, GMP manifold, and DRs. I should be 13 flat. IMO you don't run a smaller pulley then a 2.85 without internals. I guess to each his own.

So where im at right now this selection would be the best "Dual pass and an aftermarket HE, and some engine mounts, tranny mounts and CAB's (some type of wheel hop protection" what exactly is a CAB?

A set of smaller wheels like 16's and some drag radials will do some real time improvement and would put a lot people into the 12's.

I broke mine loose the day I got the car back from the dealer just to make sure they didn't put loctite on them. They are made out of a very soft metal. Good luck on getting them out I hope you don't have to drill them out.
