Questions About ZZP Shortblock

I've got a couple of questions for those of you that purchased a block from zzp and had someone else install it for you (well maybe anyone with a zzp block can chime in). What items were not included, or rather, what items did you have to acquire on your own? I gather both chains (timing and balance shaft), but what about the water pump or other crucial components? I know I should probably email them, but I've been at work all day, and they're closed for the weekend, so I'm trying to get a general idea.

forgive me for sounding like a *******, but I'm assuming new main bolts are important? I've never gone through an engine rebuild before, and while I have a buddy that's highly knowledgeable who is helping me, he's not always readily available to help.

oh i didn't realize they were tty. If they're indeed tty, then I'd rather have new. That's actually why I'm using arp studs because I'd rather not deal with tty bolts for the head.

When I was chatting with ZZP and asked why they didnt have main bolts for sale on their website they said there's no need to change them. Even In Ryan's 900whp set up they have reused main bolts.

Pretty much every single damn bolt GM says is TTY. It's stupid. But you are going to basically get a bare block. So get all seals and gaskets. And invest in a timing chain deluxe set from CED.

main studs are way expensive 400+ to buy and then you have to machine the block for them to be correct (re-align hone the mains) the stock head and main bolts aren't by no means junk they are good stuff
