questions aout zzp 3" cai

So I ordered my zzp 3" intake and I didn't order the filter with it because I have the xtc intake and I already have a k&n filter so I figured I could just use that one. From what I've read and seen, the filter that comes with the zzp intake is bigger then the regular drop in filters. Would it make any difference if I use the drop in filter as opposed to the one they offer? And does anyone have the part number for the filter they offer for the 3" cai?

Ours is actually 3.25". If you need a filter just email. I'm sure we'll sell you one.
