quick question

I have some extra cash and I was thinking about getting the stage 2 kit and the gmpp exhaust. My question is will the stock clutch hold up with the stage kit? Does anybody know the holding power on the stock clutch as I don't have the cash for a clutch upgrade right now.

The clutch will be fine for the Stage 2.

Stock clutch has held up to 400hp before.. but everyone will swear thats just a freak..

300ish normally...

im not sayin its going to slip if you hit 300... alot of people have brought it past that point...

it just wears it down ALOT faster, and will lose its friction after a while.

dont waste your time/money.. go with the OTT stage 1 and see a lot better results.. and with a full exhaust and the Stage one your clutch should not be an issue

If your not worried about warranty, get the OTT stage 1 kit...

if you wanna keep warranty, get the GM stage 2...

your clutch will be fine with either.

Wayyy better numbers than with what GMs stage kit will give you

that also has the larger injectors than gms kit as well.. which is a giant plus...

about 260ish...
