real problem with car's idle

ok so before i even start, iv already tried cleaning the throttle body several times..

at first i was just seeing the idle problem when i rev the car and the rpms drop to 1500 then go back up to anywhere from 1800-2500 rpms, then i was noticing that if rolling in neutral that the rpms would stay at 1500 or so until i was completely stopped.

i tried cleaning the TB, but it did nothing.

now im noticing that during shifts right when i push the clutch in that the rpms will continue to go up about 200-500 rpms before finally dropping down. it makes it sound like im retarded and still have my foot partially applied to the gas when i push in the clutch during a shift

also im noticing that on cold start ups my idle will bounce quite quickly from 900-1000 rpms. i know this cant be good at all and i havnt really seen anyone make a post about this, so im going to the dealer soon to see what they think, but i sure they will do nothing.

anyway, i made this huge post because i cant stand this idle problem im having and im wondering if anyone else still had the problem after cleaning the TB like me.

Well for starters, the rpms fluctating after you rev it is normal. Rolling in neutral will also make the rpms stay up.

As for the rise during shifting, this is caused by your feet not being in sync with brain.

I may be wrong but almost anything the dealer does related to the tune is a complete reflash and you will lose all custom tune.

Whenever these cars rev, they go up and down afterwards, especially if you rev into higher rpm's. If you are still rolling with the clutch out, the rpm's WILL stay higher. Usually on cold start ups, the ECU will change the Air-fuel ratio to help the car run easier. All of these are relatively normal actions of these motors, doesn't really sound like anything is wrong with your car.

what area said the upstream O2 sensor isnt reading correctly what your fuel trims are so the ECU will be guessing

They don't, they usually sit around 12-1300rpm with the clutch in while rolling higher than 5mph. If you are going under 5mph it will idle normally.

yep my car does the same thing...if i im go to shift sometimes as soon as the clutch gets depressed the rpms shoot up sounding like im reving it..could be the o2 like area said. during cold start ups the car doesnt really adjust a/f its wants a constant 14.7 what it does is runs off the ect until the o2 gets warm enought, also the egr is open and recirculating exhaust gas to warm up the cyl during cruising.
