rear o2 sensor needed to wideband tune??

rear o2 sensor needed to wideband tune??

well jsut want to know if i absolutly need it...mine is dead today(got the code) so really needed to be tuned with a wideband???

the down stream at the end/after the cat? if so No you dont need it to tune.
you just need your Wideband, which is before the Cat.

yes this one...before the cat...so why my tuner said that???and this sensor is for tell a the ecm that the cat is doing is job or not???

Your confusing me here...

You DONT need the one at the very end of the exhaust, closest to the rear bumper, that is an emissions o2

You NEED the o2 before the cat convert.

Then your A/F is off. The wideband needs to read before any restrictions/closest to the header collector.

here in canada we dont have this sensor(just 2 are installed) so i talk about the o2 just before the cat

o ok well no wonder I didnt know what you were talking about. I believe you need that one, but Im not very sure, Im sorry, I just know the one we have at the end is not needed.
