In terms of internals on the Cobalt the engine will live at the 300whp level just fine.
Heat Kills Motors this setup reduces heat plain and simple.
With some more tuning 300hp is safe.
The kit was designed for street applications.

I Will get that Info from the engineers at Lysholm in sweden ,I recall it being in the 18-19krpm range if I remember it correctly. There is room to grow a little further with it,Most people will be happy with a 300whp Car I would imagine.
Streetable friendly and complete bolt on.

that means you could run a 2.5" pulley and it would only run it to 18k rpms

ok I was wrong... 15k sustained and no more than 18k rpm's momentary (cast rotor design unfortunately) but still a 100cfm more air flow than the M62 which def opens up the possibilities. ..

Well When we first started the Car on the 2.8inch and 60lb injector tune. we drove the car home the first night with No tuning Just no wide open runs.
Tuning is no harder than using the stock blower setup.

In terms of Pistons I suggest going stock compression or slightly less to avoid timing and tuning issues.

Ok, so in the end, we can run this new blower without upgrading the internals and not worry about it, correct? Eventually I'll up the intenals regardless, but once I buy this, and the suspension/drive upgraes to hndle th new power, I'll be low for a bit on the money. Sorry to soundlike a puss, but the car is my daily driver a well as my toy, and I'm still paying on it, so hopefully you guys can understand my wanting to be sure of this.
