reliability test

hey guys. Just wondering the reliability in 42 and 60# injectors, with smaller pulley and tune. OTT performance stage 1 has been catching my eye, but i drive my car daily about 40 miles so i want to know the mpgs, and reliability of having larger injectors and a smaller pulley. thanks

and is it it bad to boost over 12 psi? will it wear the supercharger faster?

Cooling mods are a huge help in reliability w/ a smaller pulley. With the larger injectors, it depends on who you get tuned by. My MPG went up dramatically w/ a good tune on a 2.79" pulley and 60's.

You can either buy a kit like OTT sells or look into going to a performance shop to have them dyno tune you; which will yield better results.

I would recommend looking into Tune Time Performance in Toms River, NJ. Matt is the owner/operator and is an amazing tuner. He also has a Mustang (Load-based) dyno which will ensure a very accurate and safe tune for when the car hits the road. Matt has tuned hundreds of Cobalts in the Northeast and everyone makes good power and is very happy w/ his work. Tell him Erik Wiehl (while) sent you...

My .02 cents

having the ability to flow more fuel doesn't necesarily meant that you ARE flowing more fuel. you can get better mileage on 60's than you can with the stock 32's or whatever they are. it's all in the tune and the way you drive. i have 42's and a 2.9 and can get 40mpg highway and over 30 city.
