remove stock heat exchanger
remove stock heat exchanger
SO this has probably been answered but I couldn't find it. This is also preliminary research.
If I were to get an OTTP S1 or ZZP S3 heat exchanger, would it make more sense to run it without the stock heat exchanger? It seems to me that it would, and I had read somewhere that there were numbers to back this up but I was unable to find anything solid.
Im eventually looking at getting an OTTP stage 2 or ZZP stage 3 kit but I want to get supporting mods out of the way first. I dont track the car and will probably forgo a dual pass end plate for the time being. Also I have no money now anyway.

OTTP said they did a test awhile ago and with the stock h/e out of the loop temps dropped a few degrees. Nothing huge but somethings better than nothing. Then you can sell your stock h/e to cover the cost of whatever you get too really.
