Removing Gm Stage 2 Pulley Bolts ??
Is it possible to get the GM Stage 2 Blue Bolts out and off ?? I want to get them out and then Install either a 2.9" pulley or a 2.8" pulley. Will the pulleys bolt up to the GM STG 2 hub ? The 2.9" is from nates and is a four blot hole pulley like the GM hub. And the 2.8" pulley is form OTTP , and is also a 4 bolt hole pulley like the GM hub ? Will either of them fit and bolt up to the GM satge 2 Style hub ?

Oh thank God !
Also, I have the tool that came with my gm stage 2 kit to remove the bolts.... But when I try to loosen them, they seem pretty tight. Any advise ??
Stop being a **** and use some man strength?

IIRC, the blue bolts also have Blue Loctite on them... or at least mine did... so they'll probably be tough to get out. My installer also didn't read the instructions either.

I weigh a whopping 130 lbs..... So man strenth isn't much of an option here !
Any other great advise... How about heating them up at all first to loosen the loctite ? Like with a propane tortch. bad idea eh !!

There's a whole slew of options that I could give you... but I don't know what tools you have at your disposal. Try using a hammer to tap the heads of the bolts first. Sometimes the shock of impact can loosen them a bit. Mine were a bitch to get out, I can tell you that much. That's why I instantly switched to Allen Bolts, as well. Still have a bag of them in my tool box actually... all made for this exact purpose.
I'm not much bigger than you, so maybe this will help
I jammed the supercharger with a big thing of rubber from my strap wrench, placed the supercharger on my toolbox, and sat on top of the supercharger while I tried to break the bolts loose. It worked for me, hopefully it will work for you.

You can heat them with a propane torch. It wouldn't hurt to keep a garden hose trickling water behind the pulley, just to make sure the heat doesn't transfer to the blower. Hold the pulley with a set of channel lock pliers to keep it from turning (keep the belt on until you get them broken loose). Make sure your wrench is in/on the pulley bolts as far as it can go, and if you still can't break them loose, add an extension to your wrench for leverage. Put some ass into it son, lol!

I will Be tryng to get them loose in a few days. I have both a 2.8 and 2.9 pulley. I'm just trying to decide if I want to run the 2.8 or 2.9 first. Not to mention install my 60lb injectors.
the snout is threaded grab the proper thread bolt and some washers so the bolt doesnt bottom out in snout. then use a wrench on the bolt to keep snout still then simply break bolts lose.
More than likely the idiot tech that put your Stage 2 kit on used Locktite thread locker, even though the install instructions do not mention using it at all. Maybe try using a 1/2" breaker bar with a 3/8 adapter to work with the S2 bolt tool? If that doesn't work tap the breaker bar with a hammer to try and free the bolts up
5 year old thread, but im not sure. how soon do you need them? smoothflow carries them.
Smoothflow Pulleys
I know it may not be worth just getting them shipped when you can pick them up cheap at a hardware store, but it is an option
