Removing Oil Pan
Hey everyone,
I am trying to remove my oil pan however, it is not liking to come off lol, if anyone has ideas on what needs to be removed yet, toss them my way.
I have removed all 13mm bolts on both driver/passenger/front and back of the motor, I have also removed the two bolts for the tranny 18mm ones. I have also removed the bolts that hook up to the ac comprressor and also the ic pump bracket. I am thinking I have to remove the bolts for the starter as well? Is there something else I am missing?
I know that the oil pan will not drop down without being pried off because of the gasket maker and what not, however there is somethinng else I am missing.

u dont have to remove the one for the starter. once u have all the main bolts out u have to get something u can stick in between the gasket maker so u can pull down on it. try doing it from the passenger side from where ever u can get a grip at it. but it takes some time and patience man lol. i had to do it for my turbo swap

lol that is what I am doing it for... well everything else is done on the swap except for running my exhaust and hooking up the dumptube and sensors.... oil pan is the last big thing.
only thing is I need to get a bigger flange for my dump tube for the wastegate the one for my tial wastegate is too small for the fitting on the tube, anyone know where to get one?

Running the turbok kit from zzp with a 252 extended tip, getting the downpipe on is going to be a pain in the ass too from what it looks like. Fitment isn't the best might try to get it from the top?

for the downpipe we did it after getting the turbo mounted as we did everything from the bottom. the only way i could think of doing something from the top would be removing ur valve cover which can clear up some space to work in. but other than that, for my build everything was done through the bottom.
and thats a nice looking setup man. am running hahn 5 eventually i plan to upgrade the turbo to a garret GT28r

Yeah I was thinking about running the hahn setup however the oil return system that they have doesn't appear to work the best. The turbo is already on, guess I just need to mess around with the downpipe more to get it up in there lol.
