Removing Stage 2 pulley??

Removing Stage 2 pulley??

Is there a special screw driver or something to get that damn thing off?? i want to put my new 2.85 pulley on but i cant get the other one off. and where is the belt tension adjuster at??

When you bought stage 2 it came with a special socket for the blue bolts to get them off.

that would suck if they didnt

and GOOD LUCK with the tensioner , ill put it to you this way , if i could do it over again and pay someone 100 dollars to intstall my hub and 2.6 pulley i would have IN A HEART BEAT

I know, I know, I revived a well aged thread.... BUT if anyone knows the spec of the bit for the gm staged bolts, I'd greatly appreciate it. If it is even able to be picked up at a hardware store. Trying to do a pulley swap tomorrow and not sure if he has the tip

Agreed. The patteren is F'd up and I am sure GM made it like that so we wouldnt be taking it off. Maybe a member who no longer needs theirs will let you have it.
