Replaced the brake fluid in my SS/SC

My first road course track event with the SS/SC is less than a month away. Yesterday my 2 GTO buddies and I got together to bleed fresh brake fluid through our cars. My car has just over 7k miles on it and the fluid did not look too bad. Stock fluid (Delco Supreme 11) had a slight green tint to it. However, I did discover a whole bunch of black stuff floating around in the brake fluid tank. Took 2 quarts of replacement fluid to flush it out. I would say for your average fluid replacement 1 quart of fluid will do it.

I also learned how rigid the body of our car is. We put the Cobalt on 4 jack stands to be able to remove all 4 wheels to make the bleeding process rapid. When taking the car back down started in the rear driver side. Jacked the car up and removed the jack stand under that corner. Jacked it up just a bit more and was able to remove the stand under the rear passenger side. So now the car is supported by only jack stands under the front end and my heavy duty floor jack on the rear driver side corner. Body did not appear to flex one bit and appeared completely balanced. We even opened the doors to see if they would close without binding. The doors closed and latched normally! The Cobalt has a very rigid body!!!

Below is a link to the replacement brake fluid we are all using:

found this on the net:

GM's robust Delta architecture, updated and improved over the original Saturn ION's, is the foundation for Cobalt's surprisingly solid feel. Its stiff structure (with a bending frequency of nearly 27 Hz) allowed engineers to tune the strut-type front and semi-independent torsion-beam rear suspension (with long wheel travel and direct-acting components) with no need to compromise for chassis flex

GM is very good at building stiff structures.
