if i put one of these on my car will it sound better and be less loud?? and how much less, i have the vibrant header back so will the shop just need to cut a big piece out of the strait part of the piping?

Yeah it will make it much quieter. Not sure on performance loss if any

I bought a good size reasonator for 50 bucks installed and helped a lot. Just call a local muffler shop man

whisper resonator makes an insane difference. check out my thread on the whisper resonator and listen to the two videos (one before the whisper, one after)
