Resonator

Was wondering if there is a diffrence in sound if i were to eliminate my resonator on my exhaust. We just recently did this to my buddies 2002 e55 and there was a small difference in tone, more of a deeper exhaust note. I am just affraid it would sound to raspy. If anyone has tried this please let me know.thanx for your insight.

I replaced a res with a FlowTech Red Hot glass pack and that gave it a really nice deep base tone

Pic of added resonator? I want to see how the setup looks cuz I was thinking about doing it to get rid of the raspy sound.

get any type of glass pack and add it on.. most popular would be a cherry bomb or a purple hornet i beleave.. tehre are tones of diffrent kinds but any glass pack or resonator would help alot wit the rasp and give u alot more of a deep tone.

Without it, makes the car sound like finger nails on chalkboards.
