Rich smell

I have an 06 sc and i can tell its running rich. When the car is off i can still smell the gas. I left it off after about a 10 min drive checked it about 30 mins later and can still smell gas. I have cleaned the tb and there are no puddles in the drive way and no loss of fuel economy. Any suggestions?

Any out of the ordinary ticking/hissing noises? You could have an exhaust leak. That would cause your o2 sensor to read incorrectly, therefore commanding more fuel than is actually necessary (running rich), plus it would generate that gas smell.

had some one tell me that it could be my fuel pump going out. their is a weird sound when it starts some times, but its hard to explain. The car does some times start rough, it will turn over a few times

Is it like a whistling sound? Like a tea kettle? If so it is definitely your fuel pump. Get your fuel filter outta there ASAP and examine it. It will likely be black with soot. Your pump may or may not be dead but it is definitely being strained.

If your fuel system is that dirty, it may need to be flushed. Its about a $300 service at the dealer (ask me how I know.. lol), or you could probably do it yourself.

There is a TSB out for a leaky connector near the fuel pump. It might be a small enough leak not to create a puddle, but enough for you to smell. Take it to the dealer and have them replace it...might as well get the power steering motor replaced (another TSB) while your there too.
