Ring gap postion?
Ring gap postion?
I looked around on the website and couldnt find anything. I am trying to find out where to place the ring gaps on these pistons. If anyone knows or has a diagram that would be most helpful thanks.

It's always the same; you stagger each ring gap anywhere from 120 - 180 degrees apart. The only difference usually from one setup to the next is how big the gap is. If you have a manual it is probably in there. You may have to file some to get the exact gap.
Edit: Also, when you measure you ring gaps, remember that they must be measured while inside the cylinder. Also, don't get to picky about how many degrees you stagger each gap by, because the rings move slightly during engine operation; the point is to stagger them enough so that they would never have a chance of lining up and creating a leak.

The factory service manual just says to "Stagger each piston ring end gap equally around the piston."
You can put the top ring towards the front of the engine and the second ring 180% to the rear of the engine and then put the gaps of the upper and lower oil rings 45% apart also toward the front of the engine (don't align the two oil ring gaps).
