Where can i buy new stronger connecting rods?

 

The ones you have in the engine hold well over 400hp... probably even hold 500hp if it had to.

 

The stock rods are good for well over any hp amount your going to make with your car .

 

I am getting new rods for my build, I just dont trust them, since I am changing the pistons and studs and such.

If you need to get some Crower and Pauter make some for our car, they are not cheap tho.

 

If you pulled out the rods, you wouldnt be saying "i dont trust em"

 

Two companies make them that i know of and neither of them is cheap.

 

jbp makes em, pauter modifies 2.2 rods and i think manley and crower do aswell basically anyone that makes rods will make you a set to spec. just depends on how deep your pockets are. the stockers are good for 500plus i was told that they are good for 150hp per cylinder. that makes 600hp. you be the judge. take that money and invest in some sleeves if you think your gonna make more than 300hp some say thats not needed but id rather be safe than sorry.

 

Stock rods are good to over 500hp crank, trust me.
Pauters are awesome (billet chromoly) but are almst a grand. I'm runnin em but I abuse my motor more than most lol
