saab intake gasket for lsj setup?

Ordered a Saab turbo intake manifold gasket and its paper like material.will this work even though the lsj uses a maetal gasket?

Not sure about that, get a phenolic spacer

Nah not interested in that.I know the spacer uses paper type gaskets so i would think it would be fine with out the spacer

Why didn't you just order an lsj gasket? are you SC?

i wouldn't... is it thinner than the metal gasket? i know the metal gasket isn't thick but still...

i'd also recommend getting the phelonic but either way you still need the gasket/s IIRC (unless it comes with new ones i really can't remember)

don't waste your money on the phenolic spacer it is more hype then anything

I never thought about the spacer nor do.I want it...the spacer uses paper style gaskets and its thicker than the metal gasket.I also found a new pcv valve from the dealer using the Sku.when I gave them the part number,they said it was discontinued.I don't see why the paper style gasket would be good for the spacer setup and not so much for no spacer

there is a lot of force from the pulley onto that gasket. I would definitely stick with metal.
