Saab Intake Mani Quick Question.
no problem man, your gonna need an adapter plate machined for the throttle body or you can use a 2.4L throttle body with a rewired pigtail. gotta make a small bracket for the map sensor too, you'll see when you get it.
has anyone confirmed if this will work on the 2.4L. for some reason i thought it would the only thing that would have to be differen't would be the pcv orifice but if i get the lsj manifold gasket that shouldn't be a problem. i'm looking for one close by and if i can find it i will get it.
I have one on my car worked out great. We flowed the stock LSJ intake and then flowed the saab intake, LSJ=148cfm, and saab intake=201cfm, not bad for $90. I like the fact that it's a factory pc, it's cheap, and reliable. I know a sheet metal would have some gains depending on the head but then you have welds, warped flanges and high cost to deal with. Just my .02.
Jordan,
There is a nice write up on RLFs about how to make that manifold work on the LSJ.
