You can run a 2.7 with no cooling mods but it will be heatsoaked like a ****. Those cooling mods will be fine

an intake and an exhaust are cooling mods.... along with h/e, dual pass, option b, colder plugs
those are all easy cooling mods

personally i wouldnt run lower than a 2.8 with out adding an intake and meth, but if you live in a cooler climate it would most likely be ok

The exhaust helps a tad, but you gotta have some better cooling mods than that or your just chasing your own tail. More heat=less power. I'm running a 2.8 with exhaust and a stage 1 HE, and it still gets hot as a firecracker. Get the biggest HE you can afford, and if you can, get dual pass as well.

Lol at dual ass

I had 2.7 for over a year w/o meth only bad thing was the heatsoak. Its fine as long as your on top of your ****, if your oblivious to your car while drivin then I don't
recommend it.

theres a douchebag on here running a 2.5 pulley with 93 octane no meth or e.

2.5 would be a little overkill...

Heatsoak is when you're IAT2 temps are very high due to lack of cooling mods. And when you're IAT2 temps are crazy high the computer pulls timing to keep from any engine damage which kinda defeats the point of running a smaller pulley. Go 3" dp
